Career and Leadership
Ghazali Haji Abu is the Principal Trainer of Green Dome Training & Trading and a Board Director of HTGlobal Consulting Sdn Bhd, where he oversees investments in gold and stock markets. With more than 20 years of experience across engineering, corporate leadership, and consultancy, he has built a reputation as a trainer, consultant, and community leader.
He began his career as an engineer with Texas Instrument, Solectron Technology, Mitsubishi Electric Malaysia, and Shubila Battery, where he contributed to the establishment of Malaysia’s first mass manufacturing line for Lithium Polymer batteries. Over 12 years, he earned multiple awards for quality management, productivity improvements, and innovation.
Ghazali later advanced into leadership and governance roles, serving as:
- Deputy Chairman, Takmir Education Foundation Johor (2013–2021).
- Director, Koperasi Belia Islam Malaysia Berhad (2015–2019).
- Director, Kampung Bahru Medical Centre (Al-Islam Specialist Hospital) (2015–2018).
- Board of Governor & Director, IIUM Lower Education Sdn Bhd (2013–2014).
As a trainer and consultant, he has conducted hundreds of programs in leadership, safety, business strategy, HR management, and personal development for organizations such as Felda Johor Bulkers, FGV Fertiliser, Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE), Felcra Holdings, and IIUM. He has also served as mentor, judge, and speaker at national innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and was invited as a guest speaker by the Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia Negeri Johor (DPIMNJ) alongside the late Tan Sri Ali Hashim, former CEO of Johor Corporation.
Academic Background
Ghazali began his academic journey with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1995), after being named Best Student in SPM(V) at Sekolah Menengah Vokasional Melaka Tengah (1991). He later completed a Master in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Investment from Open University Malaysia (2022).
He also holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Safety Trainer (Engineering & Construction Industry Training Board, UK), Certified Practitioner in Working Safely at Height (NIOSH Malaysia), Professional Certificate in Strategic Business Planning (OUM), and HRDCorp Certified Trainer.
Personal Interests
Outside of his professional commitments, Ghazali is deeply involved in Islamic NGOs and community service, including Gabungan Dakwah Malaysia Johor and Surau Nurussalam Pulai Indah. He is passionate about mentoring youth, empowering communities, and contributing to education and social development. In his personal time, he enjoys traveling, networking, and exploring opportunities in trading, investment, and leadership development.
