The Association of Certified Accountants (ACA), in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Nexx Grow Learn LLP in Kerala, India have entered into a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen academic and professional pathways in accounting education.
However, both organisations identified two key challenges;
- Bachelor’s students in Commerce and Accounting often lack clear pathways to transition from academic studies into professional accounting qualifications.
- Many students have limited exposure to international standards, industry practices, and global career opportunities, affecting their employability.
Our collaboration provides the solutions;
- We develop structured professional certification pathways that guide students from degree-level education toward recognised accounting qualifications and professional membership.
- We deliver student development programmes including workshops, mentoring, and internship opportunities to enhance practical exposure and industry readiness.
- We create global progression opportunities by enabling ACA members to pursue membership with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) Australia, strengthening international recognition and career mobility.
- We leverage digital learning platforms and cross-border collaboration between Malaysia and India to provide flexible learning and broader exposure to global accounting practices.
The impact is expected to be significant, with increased student readiness for professional careers, improved access to internationally recognised qualifications, and enhanced global employability among graduates and ACA members.
